Galit Zuckerman Stark

Founder, CEO and board member

Galit Zuckerman Stark brings to Medasense over twenty five years of entrepreneurship, management and engineering experience in both start-ups and large corporations. She founded Medasense upon discovering that while advanced algorithms are used frequently in many different industries such as semiconductors, communication, and many others, the discipline of medicine and specifically pain was still left behind....

Before founding Medasense she led algorithm teams at Applied Materials and worked at Nokia-Siemens and Nice Systems. Galit started her technology career at the elite Israeli Defense Forces “Haman Talpiot” program. She also served as a consultant for several start-up companies in the field of signal and image processing including BoneTone Communications which was successfully acquired by DSPG Inc in 2011.

Galit holds an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering (cum laude, Engineering Faculty Excellence Program) and a BSc in Computer Engineering (cum laude, Adi Lautman special program for outstanding students TAU) from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Rachel Weissbrod

Chief Strategy & Clinical Officer

Rachel Weissbrod brings twenty five years of experience in the medical device industry in clinical strategy and market development, regulatory affairs and quality assurance, product innovation and management. Prior to joining Medasense, Rachel was a Global Director of Medical Affairs & Value Based Healthcare at Medtronic focusing on clinical market development for patient monitoring devices....

She has held leadership roles in Quality Assurance, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs at Covidien, Oridion Medical and additional start-up companies with extensive experience in leading teams in the development and execution of global regulatory, quality and clinical strategies supporting new product development and commercialization.

Rachel holds B.Pharm and MBA degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

Holly Stewart

VP OF SALES

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare across the Americas, Holly Stewart's expertise lies in launching cutting-edge technologies in healthcare and building high-functioning and successful teams. She has held and excelled in sales, marketing, clinical, people and distribution management roles with Medtronic, Covidien, Oridion, SafeBVM, and BOMImed. ...

Holly and her teams have assisted thousands of customers in implementing and adopting new technologies across the care continuum. Most recently she started her own consulting business, MedMERIT Consulting, LLC, to bring new technologies to the market that improve patient safety, outcomes, and quality of life.

Holly holds a BSc in Business Administration from Capella University and an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from SAIT. She resides in Texas with her family.

Mor Buchshtav

VP QA, RA & Clinical Affairs

Mor Buchshtav has over 20 years of experience in the medical device field, with diverse product types and classifications. In her role, Mor is leading the implementation of global clinical and regulatory strategy and roadmaps through deep knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements, clinical needs, clinical trial execution and quality assurance.

Previously, Mor worked in a variety of clinical, quality & regulatory affairs roles with medical device startups such as Medinol, conTIPI and PerfAction, and led successful regulatory submissions to various jurisdictions.

Mor has a BSc and MSc in Life Sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Ofir Gur

VP R&D

As a versatile and experienced R&D professional, Ofir Gur has a passion for innovation and a proven track record of success in managing and delivering complex projects in key roles across a variety of organizations. His expertise encompasses a wide range of technologies, from cloud-based systems to low-level embedded projects.

Before Medasense, Ofir lead a team in the Technology Research & Innovation group at Perion and later was a part of the CTO office leading adoptions of new technologies (NASDAQ: PERI).

He is skilled at building and leading high-performing teams, coordinating complex tasks and activities, and driving results in challenging, ever-changing environments.

Maayan Ronder Bluzer

CFO

Maayan Ronder Bluzer is a CPA with over seven years of experience in financial management, accounting, and business analysi.s

She began her professional career at PwC, where she worked in both the Auditing department and Accounting Consulting Services. Since then, she has held various finance roles in the Software and HealthTech industries, working with both large enterprises and startups, helping them drive growth and efficiency.

She holds a BA in Accounting and Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
