EU Prize for Women Innovators

As an active role model for women entrepreneurship, Medasense Founder and CEO Galit Zuckerman-Stark has been named one of 13 finalists for the EU Prize for Women Innovators 2020. “This recognition helps us raise awareness of the important role of women in innovation, who are still underrepresented across the EU,” she says.

“Today, we celebrate the work of outstanding women innovators and encourage the next generation of women and girls to follow in their footsteps. Gender biases and stereotypes continue to steer girls and women away from science and technology-related careers. These women clearly lead by example and show that you can follow your dreams no matter how big they are,” states Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
