Clinical Application Specialist
Texas, USA (Remote) | Per Diem
The Clinical Application Specialist provides clinical support for the introduction of Medasense’s Nociception Level (NOL) monitoring devices to hospitals. In this role you will educate clinician users identified by the sales team, ensuring a disciplined and complete clinical evaluation process to drive usage and implementation into routine practice.
Position & Qualifications Overview
We are looking for an exceptional Clinical Application Specialist, dedicated to high performance, personal excellence with a strong work ethic; a person who will share our passion for innovation and advanced patient monitoring. This per-diem position will require travel throughout the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and guide anesthesiologists and CRNAs in the safe and effective use of the PMD-200 patient monitor and demonstrate the clinical benefits to their patients.
- Ensure that hospitals evaluating the PMD-200 have a consistent and effective evaluation process that showcases the clinical benefit of the NOL technology to their patients and the institution.
- Provide detailed reports to the local sales distributor, and Medasense marketing / clinical staff regarding the new customer evaluation process.
- Drive deeper adoption of the product among existing customers, and continuously improve the user experience.
- Assist Sales Management and In-house Training departments in educating/training new sales representatives and Clinical Specialists.
- Reports to Medasense US commercial lead.
Requirements
- Demonstrated anesthesia clinical experience required (ie anesthesia qualification or BSc. with 3 years prior experience in similar roles).
- Comfortable working in the operating room, with deep knowledge of anesthesia practices.
- Comfortable with new technology introduction.
- Maintain solid relationships with both clinicians and the sales team, with a strong ability to identify customer needs and identify the needed resources to meet them.
- Must be highly autonomous, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
